What they want
- Literary adventure fantasy: a secondary-world or historical-paranormal setting (up to about the 1930s), written with a literary focus on characters who yearn for something.
- Self-standing original stories only. New and unpublished writers are welcome.
- A short cover letter in the email body. State if the submission is simultaneous.
What they don't want
- Urban/contemporary fantasy, modern real-world settings after about the 1930s, science fiction with advanced realistic technology.
- Reprints, novel excerpts, serials, poetry, multiple submissions.
- Stories for which AI/LLM performed traditional elements of authorship, or where AI-based grammar check edited the text.
- Unsolicited rewrites of rejected stories.

Rights
Official: First World Serial Rights, First World Electronic Rights, non-exclusive world audio rights, non-exclusive world anthology reprint rights. After 180 days the author may reprint elsewhere.
