Let me say this before we even start:

I will fight anyone who says Naruto is better than One Piece.

😂

Okay, maybe not literally.

But I strongly disagree.

Naruto is good.

Very good.

But One Piece completely changed how I look at anime.

I Didn't Even Like Fighting Anime That Much

Here's the funny part.

I've never really been someone who loved endless fighting.

Then I watched One Piece.

And suddenly I was sitting there watching Luffy fight one powerful opponent after another thinking:

"Give me the next episode."

Luffy's journey is one of the biggest reasons.

You watch him grow.

You watch his abilities evolve.

You watch him face stronger and stronger enemies.

And somehow the story keeps expanding.

Luffy's Growth Is Crazy

The thing I love most is the progression.

Luffy starts with a dream.

Then the journey gets bigger.

The enemies become stronger.

The stakes become higher.

And his abilities continue evolving.

Watching him reach the point where he's fighting monsters like Kaido and facing increasingly powerful opponents is exactly the kind of progression that keeps me watching.

One Piece, the manga by Eiichiro Oda, began in 1997 and the anime adaptation began in 1999. Kaido, one of the Four Emperors, is the main antagonist of the Wano Country arc.

Naruto Is Still Great

I'm not saying Naruto is bad.

Far from it.

Naruto has incredible characters, emotional moments and some unforgettable fights.

But if I have to choose one?

I'm choosing One Piece.

One Piece Changed My Perspective

Before One Piece, I didn't understand why people could watch hundreds of episodes of the same anime.

Then I watched it.

And I understood.

You become invested in the characters.

You want to know what happens to them.

You want to see where the journey ends.

And that's why One Piece is my number one.

Naruto can have the arguments.

I'll still be watching One Piece. 😂
